Carbon Tracer app available

WPD together with The Carbon Trust have released an app to show what the current mix of energy generation is each hour in our area. The idea is to use the data to decide when to use your high energy appliances. It’s a trial and they are looking for volunteers and feedback.

And this is the area covered by the app  in our case – based on a substation at Abergavenny seemingly. The map suggests it probably includes some of the wind turbines North of Rhayader.
