Talybont on Usk Energy is offering 25 electrically heated throws FREE to any older members of our community (Talybont, Pencelli, Aber and Scethrog) who feel chilly and would like help to stay warm this winter.

The throw plugs into the nearest mains socket and has an easy to use controller. It offers a choice of heat and time settings, an auto shut off and built-in over heating protection. It uses only 160w so you can heat yourself for about 8 hours for the same energy/cost as 1 hour running an electric convection or fan heater to heat the room.
