We were delighted that our offer for 25 heated throws to elderly members of our community proved so popular. We even extended the offer to 35 throws as the requests grew. I’m afraid they have now all gone but 35 people in our community are now enjoying their added warmth. One lady told me how she’d found she’d been able to turn her heating down because she was now so warm. Another told us she liked the reassurance that she could now make herself warm any time she felt the need. At 160w rather than the 1000w-2000w consumed by most electric bar or fan heaters, they will also be saving people energy and money.
